Drupal and Leopard

The blog portion of the Supportus Maximus site is now being done using the Drupal content management system. I first heard about Drupal on This Week in Tech. They use Drupal for their site and I figured since they like it it must be good. Since then I've gotten into the nuts and bolts of it by reading the site at http://www.drupal.org favicon and it seems very good.

I'm setting up some client websites using Drupal so we'll really put it to the test in the future. I'll report back as I go along.

I also upgraded my OS X to version 5, that they are calling Leopard. So far so good. The only trouble I've had so far was that I had some apps in the startup that were making it hard to shut down my machine. I went into the user panel and deleted all the items from my startup profile. Everything seems peachy now.

I also had to upgrade my SOHO Notes program because I couldn't open it. That was not to cool, because it was an expense I didn't realize I would have to incur. Other than that I'm really liking it. I have a G5 Power PC that it's running on and it is going great.

My favorite thing about it is the fact that I can save addresses and appointments right from my emails without having to cut and paste parts of things. If someone emails me to meet them at 5 tomorrow, I get a dropdown that allows me to put it into my calendar for five tomorrow. That's really helpful.
