New iPhone. I like it. I think the most interesting thing about it is the touch-screen interface. I think it's going to revolutionize the way we use computers. I'm sure we'll soon see our computers having screens like this where we can manipulate things with our hands, Minority Report style.
Windows has their table now, but there will be much more.
A computer had this problem where this Windows install window kept coming up trying to uninstall something called Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator 5.0
It slowed the whole computer down. The answer was the Windows fix located here:

At a garage sale over the weekend, I was looking for a CD drive to put in an old computer that has a broken one, and I ran across a DVR and bought it for $9. I installed it and it works great, plus it's 80GBs instead of the 40 I had.
Sometimes tech problems are solved by going outside.

I found this thing called Instant Cake where I can download software and burn a CD that I can boot to and prep a hard drive to put in my Tivo.
I'll have to try it out.
I ran SpinRite on the DVR's drive. Got about 37% into it and then it said that it was going to take at least 37 hours to complete. Probably would be best to complete it, but I couldn't have that much downtime on my DVR.
I put the drive back in the DVR and it's almost impossible to get through a show without it totally freezing up.
I wonder what will happen if I replace the drive completely. I had an old 40 gig drive around. Tried to format it FAT32, but it's too big for Windows to handle the formatting.
I'll seek out some advice on the matter.
